NDP Review - November 2024

Our NDP provides that the need for review will be considered every five years. In June 2024, the Parish Council engaged Troy Planning & Design to conduct a ‘health check’ to identify the modifications which might be needed to ensure the NDP policies remain up to date.
The health check assessed the NDP against HLP 2032 and NPPF December 2023. It also included dialogue with officers at Hart DC about timescales for review of HLP 2032, with the prospect of an updated NPPF with new housing targets coming into law during 2025.

Rotherwick Neighbourhood Plan Health Check Report V3’ can be accessed at HERE
The Parish Council considers that review of the Rotherwick Conservation Area Character Appraisal 2011 (older than the NDP) offers a more positive path to conservation area and character protection for Rotherwick at this stage.
